Therapy Can Help You Live a Normal, Anxiety-Free Life
My specialized approach to counseling for resolving anxiety and panic disorders can help you feel better than perhaps you ever have before.

Anxiety

That horrible sense of extreme restlessness, worry or fear that you feel so often.

Maybe it's a constant companion and never goes away.

You might feel like you have a permanent knot on your stomach, and worry about everything. If it's really severe, you have full-blown panic attacks where the anxiety is so intense that you are filled with terror that something awful is going to happen.

As a psychologist and therapist specializing in anxiety disorders, I'm here to tell you that this kind of experience is more common that you might think.

But, more importantly, it can be overcome…
So What Are Anxiety And Panic Attacks Anyway?
If you suffer from anxiety, you know it as a feeling of worry or fear that is with you much of the time. Although anxiety and panic attacks are similar in that they both involve anxious feelings, panic attacks are simply a more extreme and intense form of anxiety.

At its worst, anxiety might prevent you from going out or participating in activities out of fear of having an attack. Avoidance then becomes a way of preventing an anxiety attack. But because you avoid so many things, your life becomes restricted and you feel depressed and unfulfilled.

Common symptoms of each include;

Symptoms of Anxiety

•    Muscle tension
•    Disturbed sleep
•    Difficulty concentrating
•    Fatigue
•    Restlessness
•    Irritability
•    Easily startled
•    Increased heart rate
•    Shortness of breath
•    Dizziness
Symptoms of a Panic Attack

•    Heart palpitations
•    Sweating
•    Trembling or shaking
•    Shortness of breath
•    Chest pain or discomfort
•    Feeling dizzy or nauseous
•    Feeling “detached”
•    Terrified of losing control
•    Fear of dying
In My Practice as a Psychologist I have Helped People Overcome the Most Debilitating Anxiety
I know how difficult it is to live with anxiety. As a therapist, I’ve helped hundreds of clients who have experienced some of the most devastating forms of trauma resulting in extreme fear and anxiety. Many were so overcome with terror that they thought their anxiety might kill them.

But, it didn’t kill them.

Instead they received the help from a psychologist….that would be me.

Anxiety therapy transforms lives; for example, many are able to:

✓    Feel more relaxed and at ease.
✓    Become more social.
✓    Have stronger, more fulfilling relationships.
✓    Sleep better.
✓    Feel more self-confident.
✓    Expand their life options and enjoy life more.
✓    Feel more optimistic about their future.
✓    Be able to get on with their lives.

Many of my past therapy clients were at a military hospital in Turkey who were traumatized by war. I had to help them and their families cope with severe anxiety and emotional pain.

If therapy can help them overcome anxiety, it can help you too.
Research shows that people who receive therapy are better able to relieve anxiety symptoms than
with medication alone.
The bottom line is, therapy is proven to be a highly effective treatment for anxiety.

You can beat it.

With courage, strength, my nurturing support and strong spirit, I can guide you on the path to a much better life that you are currently living.
Why Select Me As Your Anxiety Therapist?
Simply put, because I am one of the most experienced and trained psychologists in Orange County. I’ve completed a Masters Degree in Psychology in Turkey and a Masters and a Doctorate Degree in Psychology in the United States.

To say I’ve known hardship is an understatement. I’ve seen some of the most horrifying things you can imagine in my work as a psychologist in a military hospital in war-torn Turkey.

When I moved to the United States, I had to adapt to a new culture very different from my own and start my career as a psychologist all over.

I am what therapists and psychologists call “resilient”, which means I am capable of handling almost anything…

In therapy with me, I can show you how you too can become resilient.

My challenging life experiences have given me a universal perspective on life and a great sense of humor. I’ve become very understanding and non-judgmental towards people. My openness to others’ experiences helps me build trusting relationships with all kinds of clients who have anxiety.

Together, in counseling, we can help you overcome anxiety or panic and live a richer, more fulfilling life.
I work quickly with my clients bringing them effective and fast results the vast majority of the time. I am deeply committed to helping you achieve the best possible resolution of your problems.
